Open Marbling Studio

4 Hour: Pay ahead, come when you like.

The magic of paper marbling really comes to life when you explore it on your own, chasing your own curiosity, going deeper and refining your skills as you are ready.  The challenge, of course, is that not everyone has their own paper marbling setup.  Answering the requests of repeat workshop attendees, this open studio time provides everything you would need to make your own marbled papers, without the interruption of instruction.  Come with your own ideas, and go to town.

In this open studio you will be provided with:

• A complete marbling station, readied with carrageenan size bath.
• A seasonal set of colors pre-mixed and balanced, ready to marble.
• Marble-ready paper available by the sheet @ $5.00 per sheet, or 5 sheets for $20.  Paper may be bought at ticket checkout, or added at the time of the event.
  
• Supervision of Instructor Keith Garubba, available for troubleshooting.

1 Ticket reserves your spot for the full 4 hour open studio, but you may come and go at your leisure.  Catch the last hour, just the first, or stay the full time.

This class is perfect for someone who already knows how to marble, or has taken Garubba's Paper Marbling Experience already.  Participants who are new to paper marbling are not suited for this offering.  All art and marbling materials will be provided for you at the workshop, but no instruction is offered at this event.

All materials are safe when handled properly, but let me know if you have an allergy or sensitivity.

This experience can be messy, please dress appropriately.  Aprons will be provided, or wear mess-worthy clothes.

Garubba will be marbling his own works during this session as well . . . reserving your seat gives you a front row view of how Garubba approaches marbling on his own terms!
