Fused Glass

Bright red taillights jittering in a trail around a mountain pass, a staccato record of the many cars that have traveled over this road.  This glasswork features heavily textured glass fused on the surface of a flat panel.  It has been rendered by a combination of direct painting and silkscreen printing, with raw exposed brushstrokes mingling into a dotted pattern that both carries the image and dissolves it into the dusky landscape.  The red dances on the cool night-time tones of gray and blue.

This flat panel artwork is 28" x 22", and optionally comes with a floor-standing steel mount that securely holds it upright.  Alternatively request hardware to mount this piece directly to your wall.
